KuCoin is a rapidly growing exchange. Based in Hongkong and using their own token (KuCoin Shares or KCS) to give discount on fees. This token also generates a passive cryptocurrency income.

KuCoin supports a lot of cryptocurrencies and adds new cryptos almost every week. New tokens are getting listed quite fast and this creates a lot of trading volume on KuCoin. This list is updated on 03-01-2018.
KuCoin does not support FIAT currency like EUR/USD. It does offer USDTether pairs.
The trading volume is increasing every day. At the time of writing is is 160.000.000$ per 24hours. This means it sits quite solid in the top 20 of biggest exchanges if we talk about Trading Volume. Once the volume increases this also means that the KuCoin Shares reward increases per day. This means your passive crypto income increases once the KuCoin Volume increases. The KuCoin interface got a makeover in November 2017. The chart area and the trading area changed a lot. We think the Interface of KuCoin is really user friendly. Everything looks slick and they update it quite often.
KuCoin is an amazing exchange with increasing Volume. Right now KuCoin matured to a exchange that lists new and good tokens. Their support is amazing, they even refunded people for getting exit-scammed by Confido. This shows a great amount of support to their customers. The interface of KuCoin got updated in November 2017 and now looks good. The trading area got completely rebuild and now looks slick. The chart area supports a lot of indicators. If we compare this to Binance where the chart Area does not support that much indicators then KuCoin wins this battle. The trading volume increased a lot over the past month and is now the 20th exchanges on coinmarketcap in trading volume per 24hours.
One of the best things about KuCoin are their own KuCoin Shares. KuCoin splits 50% of there revenue earned by trading fees with their KuCoin Share holders. This means if the trading volume is 160.000.000 0,05% of this 160m is beeing split to all of their shareholders, so about $800.000. This means you could earn a passive income holding a big stack of KuCoin Shares.
The other best thing is that KuCoin lists new tokens really fast. This means you can use their user-friendly interface to trade new tokens that just come out of ICO’s so no more shitty exchanges like EtherDelta.
Binance is one of the top cryptocurrency exchanges in China. Yet it is not located in China so it doesn’t fall under Chinese regulation. It has all of the big trading pairs, as well as trading pairs to USDT. Their website supports multiple languages; English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. A Lot of volume is being traded at Binance. Also their system can handle 1.400.000 orders per second. Binance does not support Fiat currencies (eg USD, EUR). Their support channels respond quickly and are helpful. Binance offers its own cryptocurrency: Binance Coin (BNB). You can use this coin to get 50% discount on trading fees.
0.1% trading fee
If you have BNB, you can choose BNB to deduct 50% trading fee (temporary). For more info about Fees and BNB read this.

The trading volume of Binance is actually one of the best. They made a pretty amazing run to the top of the trading-volume-board. At the time of writing the volume hit 8billion USD per 24hours. That makes Binance the biggest exchange out there when speaking of trading volume. Binance Trading volume on the 4th of januari 2018. Source: coinmarketcap.com
The Binance exchange has a really clear interface with nothing that is hard to understand. The main screen is clean and they have two trading interfaces. One interface shows you basic trading, one interface shows advanced trading for the more experienced traders. In the advanced trading interface you are allowed to add indicators to the chart and some other extras. We really like the advanced interface.

If we are talking about marketing, Binance is the star in this game. Every month they have trading competitions where you can either win coins or even Lamborghini’s. Binance made it to the top of the list in trading volume because of their marketing. The problem with these trading competition is: they make the rich richer. If you are trading by the thousands you still stand no chance to end up on the top of the list. Whales control these trading competitions. Tho we think they also have nice competitions for smaller traders. A few examples of there marketing:
Binance trading competition
Binance Twitter competition
Binance is the fastest growing exchange by far. They are growing so fast at the moment that they are having troubles with their server (today 4th of januari). We never experienced any troubles before and their support is amazing. They have a real active community. Their Marketing is amazing, tho we feel that the trading competitions are a bit unfair as they only make the rich richer. Winners trade 100-300 BTC in volume in just a few days. This leaves no room for smaller traders like you and i. We suppose they would change their trading competitions up a bit because they are really involved to their community.
The trading interface is really slick and we really like it. The advanced trading interface is something we love because of the dark interface. The trading fees of Binance are the same as the ones on KuCoin, you could use BNB tokens to get 50% discount on the trading fees which is nice. Withdrawal fees are a different from the ones used on KuCoin.
Binance does not offer FIAT trading but offers USDTether pairs.
